Jim Schmit, of JASA, designs both tropical modern and tropical traditional homes. His excellent sense of design and attention to detail result in beautiful homes with a Hawaii sense of place.
While many of Jim’s projects are luxury homes on large lots with spectacular views, he also loves the challenge of designing custom homes for vacant lots that others have deemed impossible. His innovative approach to difficult sites has resulted in many outstanding homes and happy clients.
In addition to residential architecture, JASA has completed over 100 commercial projects ranging from storefronts and interiors to multi-unit developments. His work has won many awards and recognition. His luxury home designs have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Luxury Magazine and many other publications.
